I think that IE 7 is no good whatsoever, it has been poorly layed out and not easy to access things. The problems I have had with it:
If I want to open my homepage, I have to open it in a new window;
In Netscape, I can click in the scrol botten on my mouse, and it will open any links in a new tab, you can't do this in IE.
If you want to close a tab, you have to click on the tab first.
The homepages are just hell.
The layout is extremely poor.
It is ugly
Yes it now has tab browsing, but that has been around for years! And it doesn't even look nice.
I installed Vista, and changed straight to netscape.
Tom is not one that is fussed with that kind of thing, he doesnt do Web Development, or serious web use, we all enjoy Firefox, we know its good, but for the mass audience, they will have access to some of the features Firefox has; for tom, who used to have IE6, it will be a vast improvement for him.
However, just go to www.firefox.com and you'll see the difference

In my experience it is also slow and laggy, and it is also too graphics intensive, and addons? dont bother with them, get firefox for that.
